They leave the cabin and find letter on the door, Eric reads it, and it said "No eyes, always watching".
Eric just remembers him as being a very skinny man, with very pale skin, with no hair, or a face. At 1:00 AM, Tom turns the camera back on and asked Eric what he thought the creature was. They run away from it and then hide in a old cabin. They saw a man like creature without a face and hair, with tenticals.
They go into the woods, looking for what ever was making the noise, and then something makes a noise behind them. At 12:16 AM, when Tom was about to turn off the camera, Eric comes into his tent claiming that he heard it too. He then wakes up Louis, who is Eric's younger sister, telling her about the noise, she tells him to go back to sleep and goes back to her tent. At 12:07 AM, Tom wakes up and turns on the camera, claiming that he was woken up by a strange noise. Jack jokes about the story, and then everyone goes to bed. Eric says that he now haunts Slender Woods, just for vengeance. It was about a man who wore a very nice outfit and went into Slender Woods (the same woods that this film take place in) and got kidnapped by a group of cannibals, who cut his whole entire face off and ate it for their dinner. They are chilling by the camp fire, making jokes, playing games, until Eric decides to tell a scary story. The film starts when Tom pulls out his camera and starts filming the camp out with his friends. That night, they find out that someone wants to play a game with them. I guess that faith went into a soulless, dumb, terrible movie that is so basic that I actually forgot i watched it, even though i watched it last Saturday.A few friends decide to go camping at a abandoned forest called Slender Woods. Personally, though it sounded stupid, i actually had a bit of faith in this movie. Now this may be because of an incident with some kids and the movie writers didn't want to be compared to such.
I feel like the movie could've been a lot darker than it was, as if some scenes were cut or altered. In 2018, the idea is just ridiculous and just seems like Sony wants to seem cool for remembering an old, popular creepypasta. The concept of a Slender Man movie could've been okay, in 2013. HOW THE HELL CAN SLENDER MAN TURN PEOPLE INTO A TREE AND HAVE TREE ARMS? These powers he has have never been established before. The CGI looks laughably awful and cheap, ie Slender Mans tree arms(speaking of which.) Rather, we spend time with generic stupid teenage girls. Slender Man, the MAIN CHARACTER, the main title of the movie, gets a little less than FOUR minutes in the movie. The other characters either are annoying, stupid, or serve no purpose. The characters are very basic and dull, so I don't care when the girls get taken away. Not much happens in the movie, just what you expect.
Slender Man ends up capturing all four main characters, I find it interesting when an antagonist succeeds, but it kinda feels too mean spirited and predictable.
