Before Franz could, he was gone, as if the stranger had disappeared into thin air. Nothing out of the ordinary ever happened on their walks before, so when Franz accidentally bumped into a boy heading the opposite way, he shrugged it off, turning around to apologize. “Y’see,” he began, “I would if I could actually handle socializing so I’m kinda gonnna stay home and read or play Final Fantasy.”įinally, all eyes landed on Franz. I would gladly have gone, however!” Commented Mikitaka with his usual hard to believe talk. I have a meeting with the Galactic Council this evening. Yuya sighed rather dramatically “My fanclub was already looking to take me somewhere. Yukako’s helping me out with studying for my upcoming test in algebra!” “Josuke and I are gonna be at Tonio’s later this evening if anyone feels like joinin’ us!” Okuyasu noted. If another incident like Kira’s was to ever show up in Morioh, they were prepared with a plan.

Being most of the town’s local Stand users compelled the group to stick together, knowing full well that there was strength in numbers. It was an important daily tradition they all shared in, and they could swear they’d head Angelo grunt an “Agios,” back as they passed every day.Īs they continued their travel, they were joined by Yukako, Koichi’s partner, Yuya, the school’s “pretty boy,” and the oddballs, Hazamada and Mikitaka. Without missing a beat, they began passing by the large face-shaped rock that was once Angelo Katagiri, and as he usually did, Josuke murmured, “Yo, Angelo,” to which the others followed suit. The group got to chuckle over different things to keep themselves entertained on the walk over. “Koichi and I had to go get Okuyasu so he wouldn’t be late this time.” “Ahh, guilty as charged as well,” he admitted. Josuke gave him a koi smile as he snickered. ”Gee-wiz, thanks,” Franz quipped sarcastically. ”Oh, good morning! You didn’t sleep in this time!” replied Koichi as if it were some sort of achievement. When his Stand entered Act 3, it had the mouth of a sailor, so it was hard to forget such a thing. Koichi was easy to remember when they first met thanks to Echoes. “Hey Koichi, good morning,” Franz greeted to his short classmate. After this, he tossed on his uniform and set out the door with a quick goodbye to his mother and a grab for some breakfast crackers.Īs he walked, he began passing by familiar faces, eventually finding himself grouped up with his regular friend group, the Stand users. Stepping into his bathroom, Franz began brushing his teeth, taking vitamins, and all the other daily necessities, finishing up and working on his hair, which was long and quite messy from him not taking the best care of it that weekend with daily combing. It was more important to him than scaring himself silly over the idea of a repeated horror. It was hard for him to imagine someone using their powers for something as dark as murder, and to imagine such a thing would happen in a little town like Morioh was even harder to think about.ĭespite this, he carried on, not worrying much about anything aside from regular high school stresses such as homework.
The others would tell him stories of Yoshikage Kira, the user of Killer Queen, who had passed the year before, and he almost couldn’t believe it. He had his friends, whom were mostly the others who could actually see his Stand, Take Me Out, and simply hung around just as any other student. As the radio’s clock clicked to show 7:00 AM in red letters, the usual musical jingle for Morioh-Cho Radio many woke up to in the town began to play, causing Franz to stir from his bed and go about his morning rituals.ĭespite being a Stand user and, for a few months the previous year, being stuck as the “new kid” from Europe, Franz found his life in the small Japanese town to be quite normal.
A day like any other had been about to start.
